Tasting Notes
"The rum starts with a vegetative, sweated plastic tang, moving into sulfuric aromas and burnt tarmac. The rum turns with a nose of rotting vegetation and old cereals--an odd twist. On the palate it is substantially tamer than the nose, refreshing and calming. Beginning sweet with a tart tang, it from minerals to a bed of green leafy vegetables touched with mint. The stark difference between the nose and tongue somewhat stunts the palate. The finish is long and consistent, slowly roasting with minerals puckering the taste buds; a slow end to a curious rum. "
