Tasting Notes
"The nose is generous and floral with vanilla before turning towards spices. Quite soft for a cask strength, the ethanol lays beneath a bed of honey, oak and fruits; melon and grapefruit is joined by sweet canned fruits. The palate takes much the same route, the oak softening, turning to sherbet as lemon moves in and apple and pears taking a step forward. The finish is long, but not strong, and has a background taste of light ash and leather reminding you that this whisky is mature. "
