Caribou Crossing Single Barrel Canadian Whisky

Not much spice but very sweet, maple, smooth, light, medium finish

It is ok no much going on has the typical sugar flavors I would expect from a Canadian whiskey. Maybe I would like it more at a higher proof. Just kind of a let down, been trying to pick it up for years always seemed to just miss it. I started on Canadian but for the same money and a better sugar profile in my opinion pickup Flor de Cana 18.

Toffee off the bat, some mild oak, leather, some mild fruitness maybe strawberry. then some hay, mild baking spice and a rum-esque note near the finish. The finish has spice but nothing overwhelming, but the finish lasts and lingers gentle for a good while. Probably one of the best canadian whiskeys ive had, and what a great price for a single barrel!

Super smooth, a little alcohol smell on the nose but nice finish. Very good.
