Carolina Coast Spiced Rum

Using a combination of table grade molasses and granulated sugar for fermentation the rum is created using a custom copper pot-still. The rum is then aged for an unspecified amount of time in used bourbon barrels and blended with natural spices and flavors. In the bottle and glass the rum has a dark amber color. Agitating the liquid creates a thick band with slow-moving legs that release in waves before evaporating.
Spiced RumRum that is flavored with a variety of spices, natural or artificial. They can be aged, though there is no requirement to do so.

"The aroma of the rum delivers a robust cinnamon and caramelized-apple note with other light spices of clove and nutmeg nipping around the edges. On the palate the cinnamon spiciness of the rum comes in fast and harsh on the first sip. On the second sip the fruity apple note is much more defined with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove from the aroma rounding it out with a bit of allspice and smokey oak leading to a long dry finish."
