Carpano Punt e Mes
Vermouth
Carpano // Italy
Developed by Carpano in 1870, Punt e Mes translates to "point and a half" which in this case refers to the ratio of sweet to bitter. In other words, it's a vermouth with half a dose of bitter added.
It is still a dark red, sweet vermouth, but its bitter qualities put it nearer an amaro in flavor. Bottled at 16% ABV.
