Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".

"Less bright and sweet on the nose than the brand's reposado, their añejo shows a little vanilla along with some leather and barrel spices. The palate is on the spicy side and while there's an oaky sweetness, it doesn't come across as cloying. The agave is still discernible in the final result and has a minty, slightly bitter finish. "
