Castle & Key Small Batch Bourbon 2022 (Batch 1)

Growing on me, but glad I didn’t but a bottle

4.15. great flavor for a young whiskey. Apple and cinnamon notes present

So this one started off slow, nose was not that impressive, lots of spice and leather at first but after awhile it opened up and some of the dark and tart fruits showed up. Same on the palate. The finish does linger for quite a long time and is wonderfully spicy.

mouth: corn, sweet, heavy heat nose: spice, creme brulee, sweetness, brown sugar

I really did not like this. Very young nose of dusty corn and a bit fruity. Taste was no better. A bit peachy and not much finish. Gave it a couple weeks tried again, No better. Not for me.
