RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is like toasted rye bread with caraway seeds spread with fruit jam. Similar flavors play on the palate, with sprinkles of clove, cinnamon, and root/birch beer spices with a deep, complex toastiness. Though there is a faint hint of green pepper and mint, the flavor profile is decidedly on the rich and roasty side of the rye spectrum and less on the "green" herbal/vegetal one. "
