Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye Distiller's Edition 92 Proof

Spicy and sweet...enjoyable....warming

The initial aroma is fruity like strawberries. The taste begins creamy then quickly becomes cinnamon. The finish is medium in length and transitions to pepper at the end.

Pretty good but cask strength is better

Fruity note!! Sweet front. Alcohol finish. Added water. Lost sweet start but still a bit alcoholic on the end.

Rye isn't my thing

Very nice bold flavor

Very smooth and rich for its proof. Not overly spicy and easily down able. Could hold up to a drink too.
