Chanticleer is the second Holiday Edition release for Chicken Cock and it comes packaged in a collectible tin. The Kentucky straight bourbon begins with a mash bill recipe of 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley. After its initial maturation in new, charred American oak barrels, the bourbon was finished in French cognac barrels.
Master Distiller Gregg Snyder hand selected the bourbon and cognac barrels used for this release. Bottled at 112 proof, this is available as of October 2022. (SRP $499.

Tasting Notes
"Sweet spices fill the nose along with dried apricot, raisins, and dates. The palate features these same dried fruit notes along with bright cherry and blueberry mixing with toasty sweet spices and hints of sandalwood. The finish has some decent heat and tartness to it. "
