Chicken Cock Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Aroma is very orange with a little leather and oak. Flavor is orange, slightly caramel, leather and vanilla. Late in the palate I get some caramel and a little heat.

Nose: sweet corn, light caramel, light honey suckle flower. Palate: sweet corniness, with notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak. Not super complex. I don’t normally enjoy the more corn flavor forward bourbons, but the sweet adds a very nice balance to this. I can see now why this is the first bourbon I ever enjoyed.
