This was a superb drink, very different to the likes of Don Pancho 18, Appleton Estate 21 and others in that range. On the nose I got evergreen mint, grass. The palate and finish were dry but I got more mint, grass, floral, and a little spice. The finish was very unique to me. Maybe it was how dry it was compared to other premium runs that I had tasted. This was not a bad thing, it was quite surprising and welcome.
Major sugar cane on the nose. Flavor profile is sophisticated, but very dry. Drinks a bit like a Cognac, but more herbaceous. I’m enjoying the celery-flavored finish. Apart from the nose, it doesn’t possess many similarities to its “Rum” cousins. 3.95.
