New to tasting, but this is very nice. The nose is complex with a sweet floral note. The peat is introduced on the palate. I wouldn’t say it’s subtle, but a nice way to introduce a non peat taster to the flavor. The finish is smooth and pleasant with a marine flavor several seconds later. For the price, this is excellent.

Good, not great. And not worth the MSRP I paid of $72. This is a $50 bottle of single malt. Yes, it’s 14-years-old but many 12-years are better and cheaper. Nose: petrichor and honey. Floral, rich taste, with caramel, brine. Finish: short. I’d rather spend $10 more for Glendronach 15 or Glenfiddich 14.
