"The entry is pleasant enough with soft brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramel apple. However, the finish goes all pear-shaped, as they say, and it starts to taste like a bitter, charred fruit that’s been left too long on the grill (with an astringent aftertaste because it rolled in lighter fluid). This one’s not for sipping neat. If it goes into a cocktail, bury it well."
