Cognac Jean Fillioux has a heritage dating back to 1880. The house was founded by Honore Fillioux, and currently is run by 4th generation owner Pascal Fillioux, and his son, Christophe. They are not only within Grande Champagne, but within what is known as the "golden triangle" of the 1er cru de cognac. Cep d'Or is a 12 year old cognac at the center of their product family.

Tasting Notes

"A light and vibrant nose offers plenty of floral character, with lavender, light vanilla, and oak. The palate starts dry and oaky, but quickly shifts to rich walnuts and prunes, with overripe apples, and chewy dried apricots. The finish is short and light with cinnamon and raisins, and is overall sweeter than the palate. Overall an enjoyable, delicate easy sipper."
