Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Bourbon

A little syrupy. Some peppery flavor lingers after the sip.

Nose: prunes and other dried dark fruits, cherry cough syrup, brown sugar Palate: caramel, vanilla, some candied pralines, white pepper Finish: cherry cola, barrel char, brown sugar, and maybe a hint of celery This stuff is viscous and mouth coating and very smooth given the proof. Fairly complex. Really a benchmark bourbon. Delicious.

This one is slightly less sweet than the small batch. This was a sample provided by a member of the nbsc. It has a slightly medicinal taste to it. But the finish is exactly the same as the small batch. Still a great pour!
