Wilderness Trail Settlers Select Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye
Rye — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed January 9, 2021 (edited February 20, 2021)This was a great rye for the age! I am normally not big on ryes. I definitely cannot wait until they have had more time to age some barrels to see what WT brings to the table! -

Belle Meade Cask Strength Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Tennessee), USA
Reviewed December 17, 2020This is a very savory bourbon which is nice for a change. Hints of leather and black pepper on the nose. Spicy but creamy on the palate. Lacks in finish unfortunately. I still really like this bourbon! -
Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 30, 2020 (edited January 28, 2021)I received a sample of this from a member of the NBSC and was the last pour of my EH Taylor flight. At a whole 29% proof higher this is a little spicy on the palate but ALMOST as smooth as the small batch. This is packed full of flavor and I really enjoyed it! -
Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 30, 2020 (edited April 2, 2021)This one is slightly less sweet than the small batch. This was a sample provided by a member of the nbsc. It has a slightly medicinal taste to it. But the finish is exactly the same as the small batch. Still a great pour! -
Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 30, 2020 (edited December 13, 2020)I really like the way this tastes as it is a member of the low rye mashbill it is so good. I tried this with a flight of single barrel and barrel proof and this certainly was the sweetest of the flight! -
Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 20, 2020 (edited December 7, 2020)2017 ETL sample I got from a friend in NBSC. The nose was very mild but sweet. This bourbon has a earthy taste to it but the flavor is phenomenal! The finish is not very long but I really enjoyed this pour! -
Four Roses 130th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon (2018)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 12, 2020I tried this one in a flight alongside the 2017. I think the 2017 just barely takes the cake. This one has more caramel and syrup flavors! Still a great pour!
