Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye

Vary harsh but I don’t usually like rye

Close to EH Taylor Bourbon with a tad more spice. Really good and smooth with a balanced palette.

No alcohol burn on the nose. Surprising for a 100proof rye. Taste is noticeably buttery at the beginning with some fruit. Amazing first taste. Not as much spice in the taste, but wasn’t surprised after the smell. Very, surprisingly smooth with a long finish. Very very good. One of my favorite ryes. So much going on!
