Alcohol on the nose. After tasting very smooth. Very smoky

Smooth nose. Has some serious kick at the beginning. Was not expecting it. More so than a rye. Very smooth finish, even on the first shocking sip. After the second and third the initial shock of the spice disappears, and the great honey oak flavor comes through. Great bottle

Alcohol nose. Not much spice for a rye, almost tastes like a non fruity bourbon. Very smooth. It’s growing on me....

Smooth nose. Very spicy taste with a lot of heat, but very smooth. Fruity and vanilla finish after heat disappears. Little post drink burn.

Smooth nose. Very smooth taste with slight spice. Fruity at the beginning, finishing with chocolate. Warm feeling throughout whole taste.

Unofficial taste: very good. Very smooth not too much spice. Slight fruit. Very good rye, reminds me of a more complex bulleit rye

Slight alcohol nose, but also fruity. Slight burn of the tip of the tongue upon first taste. Then comes on the barrel proof spice. Strong spice, but can still taste the fruit. So surprising! Long spicy finish.

Slight alcohol to nose. Lots of spice, really good and long flavor. Some fruit, and a spicy finish. Tons going on here.

No alcohol burn on the nose. Surprising for a 100proof rye. Taste is noticeably buttery at the beginning with some fruit. Amazing first taste. Not as much spice in the taste, but wasn’t surprised after the smell. Very, surprisingly smooth with a long finish. Very very good. One of my favorite ryes. So much going on!
