First released in 2000 and now an annual limited edition, Compass Box Hedonism returns in 2026 with artwork depicting Karen Gillan as “The Muse,” captured in a live-action portrait by Australian artist Emma Hack. The blend, overseen by Angela D’Orazio, includes 30 year-old Strathclyde, 20–24 year-old Port Dundas and Cameronbridge grain whiskies, plus refill sherry parcels from Port Dundas — the first time Hedonism has incorporated an older sherry component.
A total of 13,218 bottles were produced, available beginning February 2026. (SRP $164.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is a confectionary aroma mix of butterscotch, buttery pastry shell, dark chocolate, and marmalade. On the medium-weight palate, the fruits are represented by dried versions of fig, apricot, date, and cherries. A distinct buttered shortbread flavor grounds the midpalate with a subtle saltiness, bringing out the flavors of malted chocolate, vanilla, toasted oak spice, and honey toward an extensive, somewhat rich finish. "
