TastedSweet, rich and full-bodied. Rather than being one harmonious taste that you can pick apart to find the elements, there are noticable gaps between the very clear flavors. Open with light apples and pears, (pause) to light honeysuckle, (small pause) to rich honey, (long pause) to sharp nutmeg, clove and ginger, and then (pause) close clean with just a bit of heat and oak. It's interesting, and if there wasn't the noticeable spaces between flavors, I'd rate this a solid 4.5. -

TastedFor the price, this is superb. Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. Baking spices with some nice malty and caramel notes. Not terribly complex, but as far as blends go, its very enjoyable. Almost reminiscent of a bourbon or rye. Would be an excellent choice for someone who doesn't like smoky and peaty scotch and doesn't want to go with something that'll break the bank. A solid 'daily drinker'.50.0 USD per Bottle -

TastedGreat complexity, especially for the price. On the nose, it leans toward a bourbon profile, with honeyed caramel and vanilla. On the palate, it changes course a bit, tasting more malty and sort of Irish. The transition between the two is pretty seamless. The finish then brings a chocolate-covered raisin note, more reminiscent of a sherry influence. It lingers just a little and dissipates without a lot of fuss. Well balanced, medium-bodied, and agreeable — the perfect Scotch to share with neophytes and other non-enthusiasts.65.0 USD per Bottle
