Corralejo Reposado Tequila

Rich and smooth all the way!! Starts off with sweet agave light smoke then finishes with balanced pepper notes. This one is all about balance and it shows it with smooth transition and all the notes you expect. This is an excellent sipping spirit for the price range!

Way too high of a rating for this. Tastes like a headache, has too much bitterness and I disagree with the other posters that it's smooth. Quite a fair amount of alcohol burn is still there. It's nicely grassy and fresh, but the mouthfeel is kind of flat. The nose matches this, soft and bright, but flat again. The killer is that it's got a sort of "dirty" taste, not smoky or salty but more like earth, but in a bad way. It's good for the price, but I have both a bottle of this and Altos Reposado at home (same price range) and I prefer the Altos hands down, it's smoother, has a better mouthfeel and has a more round flavor, even though it's rated 8 points lower on here.
