Corralejo Reposado Tequila

Matches with more expensive smooth sipping tequilas. Vanilla permeates my mouth. It has become my go to and makes that introduction to shooting tequila different worldly experience.

Rich I smell agave, but I don't taste it that much. This tequila tastes light, but also rich. Much of the flavor seems to be coming from the barrel, but it isn't strongly woody. The tequila is sweet, and tastes of baking spices. It's so unique, I forgot this was tequila for a bit. The evolution lasts long, and there is much depth of flavor. This tequila is good and very sophisticated. It is worth trying, even if you don't like tequila because it is so unique and at a good price.

With a lime wedge on the glass it brings out the agave sweetness and that vegetal note that is there. On first sip it’s mellow and sweet and a tad Smokey with more vegetal and cooked agave. It’s dang good.
