This expression is the youngest released from Courvoisier and uses eaux de vie that range in age from 4-7 years. The grapes are primarily sourced from the Fins Bois region with some Petite Champagne used as well.
CognacBrandy distilled in a delimited region within France from specific grapes. Must be double-distilled to no higher than 72% abv. Required to be aged in oak for at least 2 years. Also, if labeled as the following, minimum aging is: VS-2 years, VSOP-4 years, Napoléon 6 years, XO-10 years (as of April 2018).

"The aroma is fairly intense with golden raisins, milk chocolate, and pears. The cognac is soft and somewhat sweet on your palate, but there's enough of barrel spice and bitterness that give the brandy some depth and not just one note. The finish is short and sweet."
