Tasting Notes
"Tart berries greet you on the nose and make it a bit tough to pick up much of a whisky scent. The body is an average weight and is perhaps less sweet than you might hope/expect. The blackberries give off a sweet-tart taste, but grain flavor does come through on the palate — but perhaps could come through a bit more if we're being honest. It feels a bit slick and and there's a mild barrel spice flavor on the back end which helps to give the whisky some dimension. Do yourself a favor and serve in a cocktail as the brand suggests. "
