Pretty pale for a whisky. Hot alcohol on the nose. Principal flavor is grain, with a slight sweetness that isn't too sticky. It's an honest drink - it tastes like barley, which is what it is.

EXPLORATION: What am I tasting here? I recall a feeling of sugar water. I’m curious what it’s like not paired against a bunch of other, better, single malts. Which it was in this case.
EXHORTATION: Avoid. And yet...some madness calls me back to it.
