The new-to-market, Jay-Z-backed D’USSÉ brand is produced by Baron Otard, a cognac house founded in 1795. However, their labels have never been available in the U.S. The D’USSÉ XO blend incorporates eaux-de-vie with a minimum age of 10 years, and includes casks from both humid and dry cellars to round out its profile.

Tasting Notes

"The nose is enticing with rich, sweet notes of caramel and cocoa, along with a distinctive nuttiness. The palate then shifts towards a drier, spicier profile, with cloves, as well as earthy and oaky notes, with the sweetness relegated to the background. A long, smooth finish offers black pepper, dark chocolate, and apricots."
