A lovely offering from Dalmore. A little more complex than their standard 12 year due to the extra barrels its been through and added richness from the extra 3% alcohol. The full effect of the Pedro Ximemez can be felt on the long dried fruit finish.
Toute en subtilité! Les bouteilles de Dalmore sont rendues dispendieuse et on comprend pourquoi quand on goute à un aussi bon scotch que ça. Odeur de chocolat et d'orange. Au goût, on sent immédiatement l'influence des fûts de sherry, tout en gardant les aromes de chocolat et d'orange. Longeur moyenne. C'est vraiment très bien fait. Typiquement pas mon style de bouteille, mais j'ai adoré!
