Dalmore 14 Year

A complex, Single Malt by Master Whisky Maker & Blender Gregg Glass for Dalmore Disitllery in in Highlands, Scotland aged for 2 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels & Pedro Ximenez casks; after which they are reunited & aged for an additional 12 years. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, herbs & spices; while a delicate life adds notes of soft vanilla, toffee, warm honey, dates, fig & Seville orange zest; that led to a complex death of medium length with notes of chocolate orange & maple. Neck pours. Supple and balanced with orange marmalade, raspberry jam, licorice, baking spices, dried fruit. Yum!
