Dalwhinnie 15 Year

Those familiar with Ralfy's video reviews may recognize this one as the 'honey malt'. One may find a few apple slices dipped into all that honey, along with some vanilla and a soft nutty note. Enjoyable stuff, and with 15 years of maturation, it's a great bang-for-your-buck whisky.

Nose- vanilla, almond, and slight plums, Body- honey and almod gives way to salt and peat Finish- smoky finish that lingers eventually giving way to sweet grass Overall- sweet and well balanced with peat, a nice dram Tried again in my first Flaviar taster. Very good.
