Single MaltDistilled in pot stills from 100% malted barley, produced at one distillery, aged in barrels; if Scotch or Irish, must be aged for at least three years.
Tasting Notes
"Distinct notes of overripe apple and pear skin, as well as a touch of honey, and fresh peaches, with a tad too much vanilla. Pretty classic Dalwhinnie. The palate is slightly resinous, with a fair amount of nuttiness and soft spices (crack black peppercorns). But where's the fruit? The finish is pretty short, with a hint of ginger."
