The distillery's claim to fame is the use of a barrel-shaped Lomond wash still that was invented in the 1950s and one of very few surviving ones, in combination with a pot still, during the distillation of their unpeated single malts.

Tasting Notes
"Attractive aroma of cut, bruised apple parts, glazed with honey. After a while it becomes quite farmy, but notes of crisp apple cider and lemon peel remain. The palate gives a flavor of chocolate, before settling into very malty territory, with some bitter oak an cloves. Perfectly fine, accessible malt whiskey."
