Darroze Les Grands Assemblages 8 Year

A delicate, 8-year-old Armagnac from Darroze in the Bas Armagnac region bottled at around 43% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of dried fruit, prunes & rancio; while a rich life adds notes of citrus peel, grape, quince jam & licorice; that led to a balanced death of medium length with notes of caramel, cinnamon, biscuit & hint of oak. Strong taste of matured grapes, bit sharp but in a good way

Young and fruity, but well balanced and delicious nonetheless.
