Deanston 12 Year Old 2008 Oloroso Cask Matured

Nice sherry matured whiskey

A- amber +2, high viscosity N- w/water: sweet ( chocolate, honey, caramel, burnt sugar), dark fruits ( raisins, plums, apricots, dark berries), barley, wet oak P- w/water: yummy sweet-Woody spicy arrival, full, rich, oily, sweet ( brûlée, caramel, chocolate, maple syrup, honey ) fruity ( plums, raisins, apricots), walnuts, dry oak F- medium to long finish, sweet-oaky-nutty aftertaste C- Nice Sherry bomb!!! This Deanston 12 year old was distilled back in 2008 and filled into Oloroso sherry casks, nice spirit that’s thick with complex sweetness, including dried fruit and rich honey notes. I recommend!

This is outstanding, if you are a sherry fan it’s a must try. I love the sherry bombs and this does not disappoint. Really nice quality whisky and the finish is just what I was looking for. Pick this one up.
