Defiant American Single Malt Whisky

This smells so bad like it has gone bad. I bring it out as a gag with friends and ask them if they want to try to worst bourbon in the world. I really cannot tell if i got a rancid batch but it smells like it.

Pretty good without ice.. sweet

Very odd. It has a strange funk to it. Tastes like some Scottish guys tried to make a Tennessee whiskey. Very malty, not very grassy, and the peat note isn't very balanced.
