Reviewed June 9, 2021 (edited January 31, 2024)It has a pretty impressive six grain mash bill. It’s a bit rye forward and less sweet than your run of the mill bourbons. However, at 80 proof it’s too watered down and flat. In the future I will go with the 94 proof Select, bottled in bond or preferably the cask strength (which I hear is amazing).39.99 USD per BottleABC SELECT SPIRITS -

Reviewed December 27, 2020It’s ok. I like something sweeter and I had to search for flavors I like here. Also tasted very young. -

Reviewed November 26, 2020 (edited January 31, 2024)I appreciate a bourbon that lays off the corn. This one does that and has an interesting cedar funk to it. Rock on and God Bless Dixie (Modern not past)! -

Reviewed October 7, 2020 (edited January 31, 2024)This has gotten some harsh reviews, and frankly, I’m not sure why. While this is the youngest and least complex of the Big Escambia lineup, it’s certainly not a dud. Pleasant nose of cedar and candy, with vanilla and sweet corn on the palate. -

Reviewed August 24, 2020 (edited April 7, 2023)This "bourbon" if you can actually call it bourbon is one of the worst tasting whiskey I've ever had. The flavor is extremely rough and its young as far as it age date. I live in Alabama and its warm most of the year so as far as the whiskey getting to condense and expand between winter months and the warmer months it doesn't have the extreme temperatures to make a whiskey taste become complex. I'm not a hater by any means but this stuff is undeniable and don't believe any of the so called hype because this stuff sits on the shelf at the local state stores here in Mobile Alabama because the true whiskey drinkers won't touch it.45.0 USD per Bottle
