Liquid Gold....Yes I said it Gold..Extremely smooth very fine...I've had some WP 12 year and 15 year and this blows them out the glass. This is a gem of rye..The only one rye I can moderately compare it to is Wild TURKEY master's keep rye... This is one for your collection.

Tangy but young not bad but nor impressed

Incredibly smooth some wood small burn Hints of honey and toffee.. I've had their collections of MastersKeep and this is right up there .Also had a flavor or butterscotch/leather on the finish... I have to admit as a Wild turkey enthusiasts its a hidden gem if you can find a bottle

Value is in this dram... Smells of chocolate/honey/ cinnamon/fruit On the palate its warm and toasty not hot at all but mildy warm. It has those hints of a higher price bourbon if it was left in the barrel a longer time than it was tapped for a wheated bourbon... (Think of it as a wheated bourbon premium tease) Its that good for a daily sipper.

On the nose a light hint of citrus and honey. On the palate its rich spicy hints of butter and chocolate cream. It has a semi sweet finish with a mild burn. Would definitely buy again.

Hot and heavy..... Heavy meaning the flavor is more complicated and complex; it tastes better if you let your sample breathe for a few minutes or give it a tablespoon of high quality ph water. Ohhhh but the hype is worth is actually true. This stuff is rich oaky with hard hints of chocolate honey cinnamon leather candy caramel vanilla toffee coffee and candy

Burst of cinnamon and citrus flavors yet so smooth. There is value in this dram.

Nose: Dry raisins/tobacco/Mable syrup/honey/caramel Palate:Brown sugar/Cinnamon/chocolate/roasted toffee Finish... lingering notes of Cinnamon and syrup. This version packs the heat without a doubt feels and tastes like Stagg Jr but with a smooth but yet fast finish. I'm sticking with the 2019 George t Stagg as the better option but its actually splitting hairs. The difference is the heat. Paid secondary price but still worth it.

Tastes like butterscotch/ honey... Has a nose of a fine bourbon but finishes like a pretty good scotch.

This version of Stagg jr is getting more closer to the George t Stagg version. The heat and spice is there but its not a hot tasting as the proof suggests. Buttery and sweet. Tastes like maple syrup with a hint of tobacco.
