Dewar's Japanese Smooth

N: light apple and pear, honey, vanilla, some herbal and floral notes, a little ethanol or paint fume, thin overall. T: light sweetness of honey, grassy herbal notes, chocolate, peppery barrel spices, hint of ashy smoke. Ok, but not as good as I was hoping.

Indeed very smooth, little character.

Smells like maple syrup and molasses, really strongly. Doesn't taste quite as strongly though, more sweet vanilla and light wood. Same hint of banana I always seem to get from mizunara casks, but delicious and creamy all the same.

Smooth, nice light peat, a bit dry. Easy drinking

I’m not a big dewars fan, but this one I actually really enjoyed. There’s notes of vanilla, honey and flower nectars. Hay and spice at the end with a long dry finish. Not shabby
