Dingle Single Malt Batch No. 3

Great dram. My first Dingle and the port finish covered the distillery profile a bit. Very well balanced and enjoyable whisky anyways.

I can't get enough of this particular whiskey. I'm assuming it's the port finish. It's delectable with a gorgeous finish.

Nose: Buttery malt, banana-lead dried fruit, grapey sweetness, vanilla cake and some port sweetness. Palate: Buttery malt, banana-lead dried fruit, grapey sweetness, vanilla cake and some port sweetness and cinnamon-heavy spice. Finish: Med-long -> Buttery malt, port sweetness and spice.

Scotch-like.

A true Irish whiskey with port casks warm finish.
