The second in a line of vintage products being released by Don Q. This 2007 vintage is a single barrel product aged in used American bourbon barrels. In an effort to stay true to their endeavor of creating a true single barrel product, the rum is only blended with water for proofing and no other rums are used in the blending process.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma of the rum is filled with smoky oak tannins and dried fruit. Like the aroma the flavor of the rum is oak forward. You will need to take your time with it to explore its secrets. As the charred oak notes fade, notes of sweet caramel, toasted walnuts and pecans, dried apples, cinnamon, and black pepper are revealed. Sweet molasses makes an apperance as the rum fades in a tannin rich finish. "
