Dos Armadillos is the continuation of a family legacy originally founded by Señor Gustavo Jiminez. It is named for the animal that embodies the ancient Mexican symbol of armor and protection, with that design represented on its ornate glass bottle.
The reposado is made from 100% agave harvested at a minimum of 8 years and rested 6 months in 200-liter American oak barrels. .

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

"The sweetness of the tequila is even richer here than in their plata expression, though it is held in check just up to the point of becoming too cloying. Deep caramel and cinnamon play off vanilla and ripe orchard fruits. Some banana bread with roasted nuts add to the mix, with just a hint of stewed agave rising to the surface. "
