"This is an unusual whiskey, with its majority barley recipe completed with a healthy dose of rye. The rye comes through with a pleasantly spicy kick, and the spirit is nicely rounded for a relatively young whiskey (it carries no age statement). It's hard to classify, with notes reminiscent of Scotch, Irish whiskey, and high-rye bourbon. At 80 proof it makes a suitably gentle whiskey for casual enjoyment."
