Drillaud Elderflower Liqueur

A rich, floral liqueur from France that has an aromatic birth with hints of candied flowers & fruits, while a rich life led to a candied death of medium length.

Nose very akin to lychee, but of course elderflower as well. Very sweet, floral, lychee, a little bitterness.

The nose is sweet elderflower with a hint of violet. Little to no ethanol is present. The taste has the standard elderflower note of sweet and sour nectar with a hint of lemon added. A delicate, sour, bitter floral note lingers on the palate awhile after drinking. This liquor is somewhat syrupy as most elderflower liquors are. At this price point, you will have a hard time finding a better Elderflower liquor.
