Reviewed April 11, 2021Pale golden straw color. Sticks and hangs on the glass leaving beads at the top of the swirl. Nose is light caramel, dry cereal grains and some herbal notes.. eucalyptus and cinnamon. Bright and sweet up front. Honeysuckle and clementine. Mid palate brings in some of the notes from the nose. Mint and spice. Warming, but very light. Finish shows lots of the wood but very little char, and leans into emerging vanilla frosting character before returning to that herbal note. It lacks nuance and smooth transitions, but it is pretty tasty! Shares some feelings of Irish whiskeys and highland scotches as much as a bourbon. -
