Edradour 10 Year The Distillery Edition

It's rated pretty low by the "experts" but this rye/bourbon fan really loves this Scotch. I've tried a fair amount of Scotch, but this is my favorite.

Peaty, caramel. A bit harsh

After tasting it again and again, I’m picking up dark chocolate and cherry on the nose, and leather become more prominent, as well as earthiness. The nose is consistent with the mouth feel, it’s like eating chocolate coated cherry, and sweet with a bit savory smoky note. The biggest issue with this is the finish is very short and light. Perhaps a beginner would appreciate it more.
