This is an interesting scotch. It’s unique with the process (I didn’t know they have several 10yr olds!) and with a natural colored scotch, the color is ridiculous. This nose is the better part, burned sugar/creme and a bit leather. The taste is smooth but the taste collapse quite a bit. The arrival is short, but it’s very gentle and smooth. I will come back to it to try again. It would be an easy sipping scotch.
This whisky is not awful, but compared to other scotches it just leaves something to be desired.
Nose: Ethanol, raisins, figs, a little nuttiness
Palate: Sherry influence, with dark stone fruits and nut.
Finish: Medium short and the sweet turns to a bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium to thin. Could have probably used more time in barrels.

Buttered croissants and bread pudding... Unreal! This might be the most intoxicatingly delectable smell from a whisky. I am now going to douse my face mask with this everyday before leaving the house. Screw you Covid! I win.
