I really expected a lot from this rum based on reviews and am disappointed after trying it three-four separate times. The rum is great on the nose and initial taste, but I get almost nothing on the mid-palate and finish - it’s like the rum just disappears. It’s not a bad rum, but nowhere close to the Zacapa 23 or Diplomatico Reserva I’ve been sipping lately.

Bitter dark chocolate, cigar leaf opening with a burnt caramel/flan finish. Would buy again.

Very sweet. Like cherry cola.

Caramel nose with a hint of acetone, rich mouth feel, standard aged rum taste with deep and rich brown sugar finish.
