For me, the vanilla and baking spice notes are a little overpowering and reduce the overall complexity of the rum, and it’s a bit too sweet but not obnoxiously so. Probably would benefit from a slightly higher proof. It’s a notch below the other great sippers in this price range like Zacapa 23 and Santa Teresa 1796 in my eyes. Still very good though.

I can’t really comment on this rum by itself, but can confirm that it makes a damn good daiquiri. Had my go to daiquiri pretty dialed in using Flor de Cana (which I think is great for cocktails), swapped this in, and wow. Took an already fantastic drink up a notch for sure.
