Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch A122

First taste of this batch was disappointing. Blinded against C921 and though I preferred the nose on A122 which didn’t have any HH nut in it like C921, it wasn’t head and shoulders better….C921 is still really good nose. Where this batch really fell down for me is it drank HOT. C921 never drinks hot. C921 is same proof and doesn’t let it’s proof come through. A122 let all of that proof come in. Finish was OK. Will definitely be having another review but gotta say this first one was a let down.
