Tastes

Nose: Orange peel, oak, Candied almond, Brown sugar, Caramel, Vanilla, Toffee Palate: Dry orange peel, Vanilla, Honey, Coats the palate nicely and is pleasantly drying with a touch of oak midpalate. Finish: Gentle hug with a sweet candied orange peel, vanilla, and sweet oak. Very nice finish that is not powerful, but gentle, caressing and sweet.

Nose: Sweet Tea, Caramel, Vanilla, Front Porch Rocking Chair Oak with a spring breeze, Honey, Milk Chocolate Palate: Vanilla immediately followed by oak dipped in caramel and lightly dusted in cinnamon and a light warming hug. Finish: Sweet tea with oak. Lingers on the tongue and has a slight black pepper at the very end.

Nose: Vanilla cake, Honey, Pecans, Bakers Chocolate, Brown Sugar, Caramel, Faint brewing coffee in background with a little oak. Palate: Vanilla and Caramel initially then immediately transitions to a tannic oak and dries the palate. Finish: Short with virtually no hug. Lingering flavor of drying oak and coffee grounds.

Nose: Caramel, Herbal, Minty, Green apple, Honeysuckle, Vanilla Palate: Caramel/Brown sugar initially giving way to green apple and vanilla then to black pepper and anise. Medium bodied. Finish: Medium to short with mint, black pepper, anise, vanilla, and light hug

Nose: Baking spices, Apricots, Red Plums, Sweet and inviting. Palate: Coats tongue well with spicy rye beginning that develops into a sweet wine/apricot flavor. Cinnamon, clove, allspice. Finish: Begins with rye spice and pepper notes going down, but leaves a nice spiced/mulled wine with hints of apricot and plum ending on a sweet fruit note that lingers. Medium to long finish.

Nose: Praline Pecans, Walnut, Brown sugar, Molasses, Rich oak, Toffee, Leather, Clove, Anise, Dates, Dark Chocolate/Coffee, Palate: Bittersweet coating, Pecan, Oak, Coffee, Dark Chocolate, Toffee Finish: Praline Pecans, long hug, Bitter Coffee that develops into sweet stewed dates and Raisins.

Nose: Faint oak, Vanilla, Cherry, Caramel, Powdered Sugar, Very sweet smelling. Honey suckle, Palate: Very sweet, Honey, Cherry, Vanilla, light oak and light hug. Finish: Slightly drying with a honey glazed raisin and slight peppery finish.
